Traveling became my hobby when I met my wife. Together, we visited many countries in Eastern and Southern Europe. When she was working in South Sudan our focus shifted to Africa. I realized that I had a wrong perception of Africa having been constantly fed with negative news of the continent (wars, genocide and famine) by the Western media.
In July 2017, I decided to quit my job as a Development Engineer to have more time to travel, visiting little known places around the world starting with Central Africa. With my DSLR, a small drone and a bunch of equipment, I want to share some of my experiences with you.
