Nairobi CBD

The Nairobi  CBD resembles a concrete jungle, with tall, modern skyscrapers adorning the beautiful landscape overlooking the Central and Uhuru Park. Nairobi City is one of the few cities in the world that has spacious, recreational parks sitting next to office apartments. Here are some random sites in the CBD …

The main offices of the Nairobi City Council are located at City Hall Plaza on City Hall Way. City Hall was constructed in the 1950s. At that time it was the tallest building in Nairobi.

Oh my!! these pics are GREAT!!! My husband, who is a Kenyan is always telling me about Nairobi and us going there. Living in the Caribbean, we have very strong African roots and this make me even more proud to be a part of this beauty. I never doubted the beauty that exists in Kenya despite what other pics of slums that might have been portrayed. Just beautiful!!!!!
